Waddle This Way: Evesham’s Penguin Brick Trail Is Coming to Town!

Evesham is set to sparkle this Christmas with a brand-new festive experience—the Penguin Brick Trail, a creative and family-friendly initiative brought to life through a partnership between The Valley,  Evesham Place Board and Wychavon.

The trail will feature a series of hand-built brick penguins, each with its own unique character, displayed across locations in Evesham town centre and The Valley. The trail will start on 22nd November and run through until January 5th. The project is funded via The Valley and Wychavon’s share of the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, supporting local regeneration and community engagement.

Phil Maclean, Chair of the Evesham Place Board, recently visited Iconic Bricks, the creative team behind the penguins, and was “blown away by the craftsmanship and personality of each penguin.”

Cllr Richard Morris, Wychavon’s Executive Board Member for Economic Growth and Tourism, said:

“This is a brilliant opportunity for local businesses to be part of a fun, festive initiative that brings people into the town centre and celebrates creativity and community. The penguins look terrific fun and we can’t wait to see them popping up around Evesham.”
